One idea.....

There's one suggestion that has been brought to my attention for our family theme for the Family Reunion in 2013:

"We Start and End With Family" or "O le Amataga ma le Faaiuga o le Aiga Lava"

Le me know what you guys think and bring on more suggestions. We got more time to think about it. Also we are in the month of July and we need the donations for each family for the month.

Please let me know or send it to me please. I will be getting the account done ASAP so we can get this thing going. But please start sending me your donations for the month since its already in the month of July.

Please to all the Tupe Ohana if you could either email, text, facebook, or comment me your personal information so I can get an updated listing to send to all for the reunion. Like I mentioned before, we are already in the process of planning and getting things underway for our reunion in 2013.

Donations for Family Reunion

Our committee has decided that each family will be donating $100 monthly to our Reunion Account starting July 2011 til June 2013. Let me explain: This means that each family (Levine, Fagota, Mativa, Tupe Jr., Sailau) will each put $100 dollars into the Reunion Account each month. So after each month, there should be a $500 addition to the total in the Reunion Account for all our expenses such as hotel accommodations, car rentals, food, travels to Salt Lake City and more. Those of you with big families can donate more if you would like. So please, we are urging you all to help out in our donations that way we wont have to deal with trying to find places to stay and who is feeding this day and who is cooking other days. We are trying to limit the amount of time we will be spending cooking and more time spent getting to know each other. Please lets get this rolling and get things on the ball for our "Family Reunion 2013".

Also, we are needing to come up with a theme that we can put on our family shirts for the upcoming reunion. A theme, saying, quote, or anything that you think would be a perfect fit for our family would be great. Please comment your inputs so we can start on the shirt designs as well.

BuNdLe Of JoY

Our Tupe Family have been blessed indeed this week with another Baby Girl. Andrea and Tua Fesili were blessed with a baby girl who they named TAYLEN FINAE FESILI. The newborn lil girl was born on June 10, 2011 at 8 lbs and 13 oz. This is the first child for both Andrea and Tua Fesili.

Congratulations to Tua and Andrea on their newborn and hope for a speedy recovery. She is beautiful and what a joy she is gonna be to the lives of not only her parents but to all those whom she comes in contact with. She will be a light and a candle to all the world and will possess the many talents that her parents have as a gift is handled down from her parents to enhance her life in bringing joy to those who are in need and also in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.

I cant wait to have all these babies together for their first family reunion. Its gonna be an awesome thing for them to get to know one another.

Again, congrats to Tua and Andrea Fesili on such a strong and healthy lil girl. Looking forward to meeting you and carrying you. Ia faamanuia atu le Atua ia te oe Taylen ma ou matua.

We are glad that you have reached another milestone in your life Uncle. We are grateful that you are healthy and strong and we continue to pray that our Heavenly Father will continue to bless you with many more days to come into your life. Im also glad that we are still able to keep in touch with you and talk to you.
You are looking younger and younger everyday and we are happy that you are still strong in Spirit as well. One of my favorite memories of Uncle was when we had our 1st mini reunion in Utah with Uncle Tiva and Dephine, Uncle Tupe and Susitina and the kids, and Grandma Lave was rooming with Grandma Leemo at the nursing home. During the last night of our reunion, we were able to get the OK from the nursing home to have Grandma Lave home with us for a few hours during our Luau. Anyways, as we concluded our reunion, we ended with singing "Lota Nuu". Uncle Fagota could not contain the tears as grandma out sang everyone in that circle that night. She sang loud and proud. It was the highlight of the entire night. It was awesome. I bet you that Grandma Lave is in heaven singing a birthday song for Uncle at this moment. So uncle, have a happy and safe happy birthday! We love you lots.

FaMiLy ReUnIoN 2013

Just a headups to all the Tupe Ohana spread throughtout the USA and American Samoa as time flies by us quickly each year that we are aware of our "Tupe Family Reuinon 2013"! We would like to see everyone at this reunion since it might be the last time for some of us to walk side by side with us or even laugh a good laugh with us. We also know for a fact that the economy is not at its best but as we are taught in life to budget our time and savings for the future, its brings a feeling of comfort that we will be spending my time with the ones that I love and care for most in this world - My Family!! As a committee, we are in the process of brainstorming and planning and looking for accomodations, activities, scenery as well as fun filled extravaganzas that we will be participating in.

New Tupe Additions of 2011

Our families have been blessed this year with a whole bunch of bundles from heaven. As of June 5, 2011, 3 new members of the "TUPE" family were brought into this world. I sure hope that I get the dates right, if not please let me know so I can update this post and get the right dates on there.
First to be born to our "small" ohana is Logan. He is the son of proud parents of Tua and Amber Tupe. He weighed in at 8 lbs and 14 oz and 20.5 inches. Logan is the first child for Tua and Amber.

We all look forward to meeting him and his family since Tua was the lucky one this year to have the only boy. Lucky you! What a handsome looking baby and we are glad that he is strong and healthy and that our Heavenly Father has really blessed us abundantly this year with these special spirits. Keep smiling and cant wait to hold you in the near future when we get together again. Now be good to your mom and dad. Love you Logan!

Im not exactly sure how old she really is but she is a hand full! Itzel Taimane Tupe was born on March 30, 2011 to Lisseth and Jr Tupe of San Bernadino, California. She is from the blue corner weighing in at 11 lbs and 7 oz and 22 inches.

Lisseth, are you sure she wasnt overdue by a couple months. She is chunky and we love it. She is beautiful and healthy. Jr and Lisseth have been blessed with 2 other children who just loves and adore Itzel to the fullest. She is full of light and looks like she already loves the camera. She is already posing before she can even open her eyes. Looking forward to squeezing her cheeks when we do see her. What a joy it has been for our family to be blessed and trusted by our Father in Heaven to bring souls into the world.
This new tough one here is Talimalie Tuitogamaatoe Lydia Tupe. She is the healthy and strong baby of Misi and Whitnee Tupe of St George, Utah. She was born on June 3, 2011 at 913am weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs and 1 oz and 20 inches.

She has been a joy and also its been fun to see Palo as a older sister react to having her "Lil Sister" being held by everyone. We are happy that Whitnee was able to have a smooth delivery as well and glad that all our babies and their mamas are all strong and well. We cant wait to see all the babies together and just to enjoy of each others company and senerade our kids, nieces and nephews with music of the soul.
